Advice for Litigants in Person

A litigant in person is an individual, company or organisation who has to go to court without legal representation from a solicitor or barrister.

A litigant in person may be able to obtain legal help without charge from an advice centre, Citizen’s Advice Bureau (CAB), law centre or pro bono legal organisation. This possibility is often worth exploring.
