Lord Justice Nugee

Lord Justice Christopher Nugee was called to the bar in 1983 and became a QC (now KC) in 1998. He practised for 30 years at the Chancery Bar where his practice included a range of property and business work such as land, landlord and tenant, trusts and business disputes, but was increasingly dominated by pensions litigation.

He was appointed a Recorder in 2002, a Deputy High Court Judge in 2003 and a Judge of the Courts of Appeal of Jersey and Guernsey in 2011.

He was appointed as a High Court Judge in October 2013 and assigned to the Chancery Division, and to the Court of Appeal in October 2020.
